adidas Brooklyn Creator Farm - basketball community giveback

2018 I was on a mission in the adidas Brooklyn Creator Farm in New York for a basketball community project. Over 3 months, we engaged with the kids from the local community of the Christopher Wallace (The Notorious B.I.G.) court and supported in organizing a local community tournament. We invited the players into the Farm to co-create with us to design the team jerseys. Each jersey was named after one of Biggie Smalls most famous tracks.

My role was to support with the documentation and storytelling around the project and I also executed a Jersey graphic design based on the kids’ sketches, mood boards and inspirations that we developed together in the workshop. We wanted to inspire the youth through creativity that anything is possible and that sport is an outlet that helps you to accomplish many things, just like Biggie did through music.
